About Us
Your Child is in Great Hands
Philosophy
At Kid’s Kampus North, we are committed to the belief that children can develop their highest potential in an atmosphere that fosters mutual respect and appreciation for the uniqueness and capabilities of each individual. Therefore, one of the primary goals of our center is to care for each child as an individual with their own needs to be met. We strive to meet both the child’s emotional and physical needs in order to develop happy, secure, outgoing children who are better individuals for having spent time with us.
Commitment is the keyword at Kid’s Kampus North. Our staff is composed of individuals who, for the good of the children and the center, function as a very special TEAM on a high level. All teachers and staff are background checked, CPR Certified and have many years of experience working in a licensed child care facility. Teachers also attend many required trainings throughout the year that include: child development, positive discipline and guidance, classroom management, health and safety...etc.
Here at Kid’s Kampus North, we believe that throughout the whole learning process parents, are their child’s first teacher; thus, we work to support parents in their efforts to guide their child’s development. Young children are growing and developing in many ways every day. We offer a curriculum that is designed to gently guide the child to a whole new world where they receive a balance of nurturing, playtime and learning throughout the day. Daily activities build cognitive skills, expressive and receptive language, fine and gross motor skills, social skills and self-help skills as the child explores the continually expanding world around them. Lesson plans and activities are based on each child's progression toward developmental milestones.
Health & Safety
Safety extends into nearly all aspects of a Kid's Kampus North child care facility and its day to day operations. Safety is at the forefront of our teacher’s minds at all times.
From the layout of the rooms and placement of desks to the materials used in craft making, safety is considered seriously. In order to maintain the clean classroom, the kiddos are incorporated into the daily routine tidiness. We do spare some time to clean up after each activity.
This will not only reduce the work that teachers have to do after class but also teach the kiddos good habits that will carry on into the future.
During this Coronavirus pandemic, Kid's Kampus North (KKN), the facility has been implementing directives of Texas Health and Human Services Commission in letter and spirit.
